I simply love this time of year. The air just has an excitement about it. Perhaps it is the cool breeze that excites our skin as we step out the door, but I wouldn't change it!
This weekend I began my fall decorating. I prefer to decorate for Fall, rather than for Halloween or Thanksgiving that way I get the best bang for my buck and the decorations are able to be used the entire Autumn season. Of course I may make a tweak or two throughout the season to personalize things a bit, but the main framework always stays in place.
For instance, you'll notice in the photo of my front door, the fall leaves embracing the door are able to remain from September through November. The same will apply for the haybale, pumpkin and scare crow. The only thing I'll change at the entrance after Halloween will be the sign on the door, from Happy Halloween to a Give Thanks sign that I have and love for Thanksgiving.
Using basic framework that is able to be tweaked just slightly allows you to use minimal supplies with months of enjoyment.
